August 30, GARDEN WALK 2026

My garden walks are an EVENT! During this walk you will be able to interact directly into the many garden spaces on my campus. You can smell and touch the flowers, take small samples of plants if you like, and have questions answered about the types of plants around and their many uses.

 

The gardens on my campus are a TRIPLE THREAT – Edible, Medicinal, and of course general landscaping plants. There is no ONE WAY to garden and this is your chance to see and learn a new way to interact with the lands around us.

Following the walk all participants will enjoy a lunch underneath a tent in the backyard garden area. Here’s the menu I’m considering:

 

Crab and Dill pasta salad (herbs from my garden)

Garden herb roasted vegetables (potatoes, brussel sprouts, carrots, zucchini, onions, herbs from my garden)

Garlic butter cauliflower wedges

Hibiscus ginger mint drink

Fresh garden mint tea

Dessert

 

All participants receive a handout detailing the many plants they observed on the walk.

The cost of the walk and lunch is $50
